This band's electro-acoustic sound is well established on the North-East ceilidh scene. We offer a high energy blend of traditional and contemporary tunes from the British Isles, Europe and America that leaves dancers exhausted and whooping for more.
All of the band are skilled traditional musicians. Accordionist Sol Walker was brought up in a family tradition of dance and music. His 'dancer's touch' combined with the flair of Nikki Williamson on fiddle and the rhythmic groove of guitarist Ged Lawson and Dublin percussionist Derek Heather, creates some of the most 'danceable' traditional music you'll ever encounter.

In this ceilidh band, four young and talented musicians have fused together traditional and modern styles to produce a fresh and exuberant sound. Accordion and fiddle provide the melodic element and bass and mandocello generate the drive for the dancers. Having played in different combinations together in previous bands they blend together well to form a tight and entertaining ceilidh band. This is a foot-stompingly good act for an energetic night out.

Here we are pleased to offer a ceilidh band with a strongly traditional Irish flavour. The melody lines are generated by combinations selected from: fiddle; concertina; uilleann pipes; flutes and whistles with the rhythms of guitar and bodhran providing the pulse. The players have strong pedigrees in the Irish tradition, both dancing and playing. If you are seeking a light and authentic feel, this is the band to choose.
